The website www.embryotox.de serves as a source of information for both professionals and the general public on (almost) every medicine available on the market.
It is expressly pointed out that, whilst preliminary information is important for members of the public, it is no substitute for a consultation with a healthcare professional. The platform also offers free advice, as well as the opportunity to share your own experiences.

For each medication, information is provided regarding the period before pregnancy, the first trimester (up to the third month), the second and third trimesters, childbirth and the breastfeeding period.
The portal is run by Charité, a university hospital, and is funded by the Department of Health.
