The "European Network of Birth Organisations" brings together associations dealing with pregnancy, childbirth and obstetrics as well as legal issues. ENCA monitors important developments in Europe and informs about them.
At their annual meeting during the 3rd week of May, members choose a theme for the International Week for Respecting Childbirth (IWRC).
